You Are Not A Failure!
Author: Calvin J. Moss
What is failure? Failure is a lack of success, an unsuccessful person or thing. In other words, failure is quitting before receiving the promise. As children of God, we must understand that with God all things are possible. The victory is already won. We triumph in all things in Christ Jesus! There are no reasons for failures just excuses. The Bible says in Proverbs 24:10 “If thou faint in the day of adversity thy strength is small”. God the father created us with abilities to succeed. One of them is the blood of Jesus and the other is the Holy Ghost. It is our responsibility to operate with in them. Jesus said: “the Kingdom of God is within you”.
Failure is a state of mind, just as belief or faith is a state of mind. A well known motivational speaker name Jeffrey Combs said: ” failures are really successes turned upside down”. See the enemy the devil, wants you to operate in failure. He wants you to think failure and act failure. The minute you start to think success and act it, you begin to change your paradigm. You begin to operate in success. Before you know it situations will begin to occur in your life. It will not happen over night. It is a process that requires seed planting. The seed is the word of God. The word of God builds faith against failure. You must have an undeniable belief that you have a right to success. Your right and desire to be successful in God have to bigger than any possible reason for failure.
One reason why Christians fail is because they come off the word of God. Another reason is because we all want things the fast way. One of the fruits of the spirit is longsuffering. Longsuffering basically means going through a process no matter how long it takes to get the desired results. It is diligence in action. The Bible says in the book of Matthew 9:29, “According to your faith be it unto you”. Children of God, we will all pay a price and continue to pay it. Paying the price is a lifetime lesson. When you stop growing, you may begin to experience failure.
Failure is not a result. It is a process of what you go through to get the desired result which is success assuming you do not quit. God is not a failure. As children of God, neither are we! A famous speaker name Jerry Clark said: “ Success costs pennies, failures cost millions”.
